Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) Oiticica FC's Cafu Ferreira started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the match, Balsa EC's Cícero Vander sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Delfim Paraense narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Balsa EC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Remo Gomes in the 4th minute. The corner ended in Remo Gomes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Oiticica FC's Delfim Paraense did a great save. Gonçalo Lago recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cícero Vander during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Oiticica FC booed when Balsa EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cícero Vander didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodolfo Cordeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dadá Viana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Oiticica FC's Cafu Ferreira in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Balsa EC's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delfim Mandrak in the 23rd minute of play forced Balsa EC's goalkeeper Rodolfo Cordeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Oiticica FC's Dadá Viana got a free kick in the 27th minute. Cafu Ferreira struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Rodolfo Cordeiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oiticica FC. The audience was convinced that Cafu Ferreira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodolfo Cordeiro was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. If Adolfo Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adolfo Nunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Delfim Paraense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cafu Ferreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodolfo Cordeiro came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Oiticica FC's Cafu Ferreira. But to his dismay, Cafu Ferreira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Cafu Ferreira sped through Balsa EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rodolfo Cordeiro. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Róbson Figueiredo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute, Oiticica FC's Cafu Ferreira dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. After 62 minutes of play, Oiticica FC's Cafu Ferreira made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodolfo Cordeiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Donato Passos in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodolfo Cordeiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cafu Ferreira in the 72nd minute of play forced Balsa EC's goalkeeper Rodolfo Cordeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cafu Ferreira got free with Rodolfo Cordeiro in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 76th minute, Gonçalo Lago got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cafu Ferreira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Rodolfo Cordeiro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The Oiticica FC fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when Oiticica FC's Cafu Ferreira looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rodolfo Cordeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonçalo Lago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 90 minutes, Gonçalo Lago managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oiticica FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gonçalo Lago was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 92 minutes into the game, Oiticica FC's Cafu Ferreira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rodolfo Cordeiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. With a little luck, Balsa EC's Rodolfo Cordeiro got control of the ball when Cafu Ferreira tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Balsa EC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Oiticica FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
