In the 26th minute, Maurício Botelho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 31 minutes into the match, Amapá S. Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrão Gaúcho came free, but William Hylleholt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcelinho Fernandes kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Cyrus Britton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Donato Quirino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Cyrus Britton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Donato Quirino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cyrus Britton took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Donato Quirino. Donato Quirino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. Marcelinho Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Caioca's Donato Quirino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cyrus Britton in the 61st minute of play. In the 63rd minute Cyrus Britton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Quirino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amapá S. Clube's William Hylleholt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Amapá S. Clube from getting a goal against them. Cyrus Britton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Donato Quirino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cyrus Britton in the 73rd minute of the match. Chico Novaes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Donato Quirino having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Cyrus Britton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Donato Quirino was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. In the 77th minute Cesinha Barral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Quirino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Donato Quirino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Cyrus Britton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Donato Quirino was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marco Dias in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg William Hylleholt saved Amapá S. Clube from getting behind. Amapá S. Clube's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
