Serafim Barreto made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Júlio Vander sent off a good shot on target. Serafim Barreto came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Filadélfia FC's Luisinho Dracena. But to his dismay, Luisinho Dracena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Serafim Barreto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stewart Cornish in the 38th minute of the match. After 40 minutes, Luís Eduardo Aparecido mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GMB Coragem and the Filadélfia FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to GMB Coragem getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Luís Eduardo Aparecido hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Luisinho Dracena kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Serafim Barreto. That made the score 6-0 in the 43 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Luisinho Dracena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Filadélfia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luisinho Dracena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serafim Barreto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stewart Cornish to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, GMB Coragem's goal looked a bit too open when Stewart Cornish came free, but Serafim Barreto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 7-0 became the score in the 58th minute when Júlio Vander elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Luisinho Dracena ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Serafim Barreto was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. Betão Gaspar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Vinhas in the 68th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, GMB Coragem's goal looked a bit too open when Luisinho Dracena came free, but Serafim Barreto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Serafim Barreto came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Filadélfia FC's Sílvio Luiz Tróia. But to his dismay, Sílvio Luiz Tróia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. If Júlio Vander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filadélfia FC's Valdir do Valle was substituted for Sílvio Luiz Tróia. Stewart Cornish's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Serafim Barreto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Filadélfia FC's Valdir do Valle got a free kick in the 80th minute. Serafim Barreto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júlio Vander, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Filadélfia FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
