Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when João Augusto Zanette made the kick off which started today's match. Raimundo Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elder Tande having to interfere. Raimundo Carneiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Elder Tande made a huge save. 7 minutes into the match, Filipe dos Santos notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Mazembe's Elder Tande. Elder Tande was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Raimundo Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Elder Tande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filipe dos Santos in the 10th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Maristela's Raimundo Carneiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elder Tande narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Raimundo Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elder Tande having to interfere. Mazembe's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Filipe dos Santos scored to the left of an out of position Elder Tande, making the score, 2-0. Raimundo Carneiros short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Elder Tande to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Raimundo Carneiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elder Tande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filipe dos Santos in the 25th minute of play. Elder Tande took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filipe dos Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eugênio Santana's late challenge caught a Maristela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Mazembe's Eugênio Santana got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Filipe dos Santos made a kick off. Filipe dos Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Elder Tande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rafa Koehler kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Perivaldo Velasco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maristela's supporters rose to their feet, but Perivaldo Velasco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elder Tande breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 60 minutes of play, Maristela's Filipe dos Santos made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elder Tande was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 68thth minute of the game Raimundo Carneiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mazembe's Elder Tande was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 70th minute, Filipe dos Santos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Maristela fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Raimundo Carneiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Elder Tande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filipe dos Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maristela's Raimundo Carneiro got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mazembe's Elder Tande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filipe dos Santos in the 87th minute of play. After some careless play in the Mazembe defense, Raimundo Carneiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elder Tande. The Mazembe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elder Tande should have stopped the shot. Geovani Motta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elder Tande having to interfere. Filipe dos Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Elder Tande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 94 minutes of play, Maristela's Raimundo Carneiro made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elder Tande was left in no man's land by his defense there! There was no doubt that Maristela were the better team. Maristela's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
