Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Adalberto Veiga took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 7th minute, Hamílton Koehler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9th match minute, Real Cruz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hamílton Koehler to maneuver through the defense. Adalberto Veiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Claudinei Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Real Cruz's Oscar Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramón Maranhense in the 14th minute of play. Ramón Maranhense kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Claudinei Barros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adalberto Veiga's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Oscar Melo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sílvio Luiz Godoi in the 23rd minute. If Sílvio Luiz Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th match minute, Real Cruz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hamílton Koehler to maneuver through the defense. 29 minutes into the match, Itacurubi EC's Inácio Cardozo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Itacurubi EC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Inácio Cardozo in the 33rd minute. Oscar Melo made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Sílvio Luiz Godoi sent off a good shot on target. Oscar Melo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramón Maranhense in the 38th minute of play. Real Cruz's Oscar Melo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Real Cruz from getting a goal against them. In the 47th minute, Adalberto Veiga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claudinei Barros was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Sílvio Luiz Godoi in the 54th minute of play forced Real Cruz's goalkeeper Oscar Melo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Real Cruz defense, Sílvio Luiz Godoi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oscar Melo. The Real Cruz fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oscar Melo should have stopped the shot. Real Cruz's Oscar Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sílvio Luiz Godoi in the 60th minute of play. 64 minutes in the game Oswaldo Marquez did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Waldemar de Andrade. Oscar Melo came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Itacurubi EC's Sílvio Luiz Godoi. But to his dismay, Sílvio Luiz Godoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Oscar Melo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sílvio Luiz Godoi in the 71st minute of play. Oscar Melo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramón Maranhense in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th minute, Ramón Maranhense left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Itacurubi EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Oscar Melo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sílvio Luiz Godoi went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Real Cruz booed when Itacurubi EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oswaldo Marquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sílvio Luiz Godoi in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oscar Melo saved Real Cruz from getting behind. Oscar Melo came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Itacurubi EC's Ramón Maranhense. But to his dismay, Ramón Maranhense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. After 94 minutes of play, Itacurubi EC's Sílvio Luiz Godoi made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oscar Melo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Real Cruz's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
