With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmílson Paraibano in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gernando Pinheiro saved Canavial from getting behind. But to his dismay, Gustavo Arce quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arí Peres in the 73rd minute of play forced Restinga F.C.'s goalkeeper Thiago Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
