Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robinho Almeida in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cláudio Toledo saved Xilili from getting behind. In the 11th match minute, Xilili was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Paranaense to maneuver through the defense. If Robinho Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 17th play minute Conrado Goiano came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Kléberson de Medeiros. 1-1. In the 25th minute Robinho Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cláudio Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute, Ronan Woodward got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, New Jersey Fire's Matheus Brito got a free kick in the 31st minute. 33 minutes into the match, Robinho Almeida notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Xilili's Cláudio Toledo. Cláudio Toledo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cláudio Toledo came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by New Jersey Fire's Ronan Woodward. But to his dismay, Ronan Woodward quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Robinho Almeida recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The wind increased when Nico Brito made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, New Jersey Fire's Robinho Almeida sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cláudio Toledo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Xilili getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Afonso Guerra hit a great ball. Cláudio Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronan Woodward in the 61st minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 63 minutes, Cláudio Toledo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Robinho Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cláudio Toledo having to interfere. Matheus Brito's late challenge caught a Xilili's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matheus Brito helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Xilili booed when New Jersey Fire was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matheus Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Conrado Goiano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 75 minutes into the match, Xilili's goalkeeper Cláudio Toledo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucas Dante. Afonso Guerra hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 79th match minute, Xilili was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tostão Maia to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the match, New Jersey Fire's Lucas Dante broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Robinho Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot. New Jersey Fire's supporters rose to their feet, but Robinho Almeida was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cláudio Toledo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Robinho Almeida's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cláudio Toledo was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Xilili's Cláudio Toledo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Xilili from getting a goal against them. In the 92nd minute, New Jersey Fire's Robinho Almeida ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cláudio Toledo. Cláudio Toledo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. 96 minutes into the match, Robinho Almeida dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cláudio Toledo, 1-5. New Jersey Fire played a much better game than Xilili and deserved their victory. The Xilili players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
