Spectators: 7274 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 144) Patativa SC's Amauri Alves started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Breno Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Luiz Gustavo Damião managed to get in a good position for a shot. Patativa SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Gustavo Damião was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luciano Marquez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 7 minutes into the match, Patativa SC's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Valle came free, but Horácio Correia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isaltino Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Marquez having to interfere. Délio Arruda hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute of the match Luiz Gustavo Damião shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luciano Marquez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amauri Alves in the 17th minute of play forced Rebentao EC's goalkeeper Luciano Marquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Breno Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Luciano Marquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Breno Azevedo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Patativa SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Luciano Marquez came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Patativa SC's Luiz Gustavo Damião. But to his dismay, Luiz Gustavo Damião quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 29 minutes into the match, Patativa SC's Isaltino Rodrigues sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luciano Marquez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 32nd match minute, Rebentao EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo Valle to maneuver through the defense. Patativa SC's Horácio Correia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Valle in the 34th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Richard Valle to strike the kick off in the second half. Luciano Marquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amauri Alves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 52 played minutes Rebentao EC got a freekick which was hit by Cipriano Baiano. Robinho Cardozo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 58 minutes into the game, Patativa SC's Amauri Alves nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luciano Marquez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 61st minute, Breno Azevedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luciano Marquez came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Patativa SC's Amauri Alves. But to his dismay, Amauri Alves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Rebentao EC's Luciano Marquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Breno Azevedo in the 83rd minute of play. Patativa SC's Breno Azevedo got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Rebentao EC's zone, Amauri Alves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luciano Marquez came out of the goal and Amauri Alves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Amauri Alves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Patativa SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Amauri Alves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luciano Marquez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luciano Marquez came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Patativa SC's Breno Azevedo. But to his dismay, Breno Azevedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Patativa SC had played much better football throughout.
