Telmo Paranaense might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcinho Medeiros. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Telmo Paranaense ran back to his position shaking his head. With his leg Marcinho Medeiros managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when Ocara SC's Telmo Paranaense fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Telmo Paranaense in the 32nd minute of play forced Torrense's goalkeeper Marcinho Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Narciso Linhares kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcinho Medeiros. That made the score 1-0 in the 34 minute of play. Telmo Paranaense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcinho Medeiros having to interfere. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Haroldo Vale stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Haroldo Vale took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Luizinho Moura to make any attempt to save it. Narciso Linhares scored 2-1 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcinho Medeiros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Telmo Paranaense's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcinho Medeiros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Narciso Linhares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Torrense's Marcinho Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Telmo Paranaense in the 84th minute of play. 87 minutes into the game, Ocara SC's Narciso Linhares nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcinho Medeiros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Telmo Paranaense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Marcinho Medeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
