Hudson Prestes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Jefferson Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute, Hudson Prestes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valdomiro Rossi kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Hudson Prestes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Glauco Custódio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the game, Diamantino Domingues was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tatuapé City F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Red Bull Bauru the free kick. The supporters of Red Bull Bauru booed when Tatuapé City F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diamantino Domingues didn't get a good kick on the ball. Glauco Custódio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Loureiro in the 31st minute of play. Hudson Prestes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Glauco Custódio having to make a save. Glauco Custódio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genílson Guerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Erik Loureiro took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Glauco Custódio. Glauco Custódio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The supporters of Red Bull Bauru booed when Tatuapé City F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Váldson Maciel didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Genílson Guerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute, Hudson Prestes fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpected shot in the 66th minute by Hudson Prestes got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Red Bull Bauru's Genílson Guerra in 66 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Glauco Custódio guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 71st minute, Valdomiro Rossi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Red Bull Bauru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 81st minute, Red Bull Bauru's Erik Loureiro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Glauco Custódio. Glauco Custódio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Hudson Prestes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Glauco Custódio made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Genílson Guerra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Red Bull Bauru's supporters rose to their feet, but Genílson Guerra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Glauco Custódio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Genílson Guerra succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 93rd playminute. Glauco Custódio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Genílson Guerra in the 98th minute of the match. Red Bull Bauru played a much better game than Tatuapé City F.C. and deserved their victory. The Tatuapé City F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
