To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 20 minutes into the game, Gugu Vale cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Cláudio Prado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cláudio Prado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 27th minute, Brockman Millar made a precise shot to the right of Cláudio Prado. INTER's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. 30 minutes into the game, Róbson Chaves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cobe AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave INTER the free kick. In the 30th match minute, Cobe AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Róbson Chaves to maneuver through the defense. Orlando Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafa Abraão, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After 34 played minutes Cobe AD got a freekick which was hit by Delfim de Alcântara. Orlando Amaral acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 35th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Narciso Torres. The supporters of INTER booed when Cobe AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermínio Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. The INTER fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cláudio Prado should have stopped the shot. The INTER players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cobe AD were winning 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rafa Abraão to strike the kick off in the second half. Cláudio Prado was a little too slow when Brockman Millar got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 0-5. Brockman Millar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cláudio Prado having to interfere. INTER's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Brockman Millar scored to the left of an out of position Cláudio Prado, making the score, 0-6. Cobe AD's Orlando Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafa Abraão in the 62nd minute of play. A hard shot 63 in the game by Gugu Vale from a close distance when the talented Cláudio Prado managed to make a qualified save. INTER's players were relieved. Orlando Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel do Vale in the 65th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 66th minute by Brockman Millar got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Brockman Millar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leonel Lima blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cláudio Prado having to make a save. Cobe AD's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
