With an all-out effort, Cobe AD's Glauco Custódio threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Brockman Millar, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Brockman Millar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 44 minutes, Brockman Millar made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Tatuapé City F.C.'s Glauco Custódio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Cobe AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Brockman Millar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Glauco Custódio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
