The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sabino Luz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliézer Ramos in the 19th minute of play. Sabino Luz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erivaldo de Toledo in the 23rd minute of the match. Sabino Luz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eliézer Ramos went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 31st match minute, Caietra SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erivaldo de Toledo to maneuver through the defense. Rondon SC's Hílton Leal got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Christiano Arantes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Emerson Tinoco. Caietra SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Rondon SC booed when Caietra SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aílton Sergipano didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Erivaldo de Toledo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sabino Luz was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Jean Santana was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 60 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute there was a penalty for Caietra SC. Zé Augusto da Silveira stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sabino Luz. 1-2. With a little luck, Rondon SC's Sabino Luz got control of the ball when Eliézer Ramos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sabino Luz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erivaldo de Toledo's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. A collision led to Caietra SC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Aílton Sergipano hit a great ball. Caietra SC's Erivaldo de Toledo got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emerson Tinoco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hílton Leal, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. If Caco Galvão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eliézer Ramoss short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Sabino Luz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Sabino Luz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erivaldo de Toledo's shot from short distance in the 86th minute.
