With an extended leg and a bit of luck Álvaro Pires prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 30th minute Thomás Correia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Pires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tarcisio Cordeiro hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Álvaro Pires made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Ribeiro in the 39th minute of play. After 75 minutes, Thomás Correia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sagatyba Sport Clube and the Galhardo SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 77 minutes, Michel Valadares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galhardo SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michel Valadares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Álvaro Pires made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Ribeiro in the 84th minute of play. Thomás Correia kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Donato Ribeiro got free with Álvaro Pires in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Donato Ribeiro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Álvaro Pires. That made the score 0-7 in the 94 minute of play. Sagatyba Sport Clube's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
