Luiz Fábio Marquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guga de Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Britto in the 16th minute of play forced Candeias SC's goalkeeper Luiz Fábio Marquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in Simão Valladares almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Floquinho 3 FC's Radoslaw Faron did a great save. Floquinho 3 FC's Radoslaw Faron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yuri Brasil in the 25th minute of play. With a little luck, Floquinho 3 FC's Radoslaw Faron got control of the ball when Eliseu Fernandez tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 30th minute, Zé Paulo Vidal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Guga de Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. Floquinho 3 FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eliseu Fernandez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 45 minutes into the match, Floquinho 3 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Yuri Brasil came free, but Radoslaw Faron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yuri Brasil stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Guga de Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Luiz Fábio Marquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vitinho Barral hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute of the match Simão Valladares sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Radoslaw Faron skillfully saved the ball. Leandro Britto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Luiz Fábio Marquez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Eliseu Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Candeias SC's Yuri Brasil in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Yuri Brasil ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 94th minute, Yuri Brasil made a precise shot to the right of Radoslaw Faron. Floquinho 3 FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Floquinho 3 FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Candeias SC had won, even though Floquinho 3 FC had held more of the ball.
