Renan Loureiro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Flavinho de Queirós when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 7 minutes, Alexandre de Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anathema FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexandre de Andrade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Maurity SS getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Osmar Rosado hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Renan Loureiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anathema FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Renan Loureiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flavinho de Queirós breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 19th minute, Adriano Lara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Renan Loureiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Flavinho de Queirós made a huge save. Maurity SS's Flavinho de Queirós proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Maurity SS from getting a goal against them. In the 40th minute, Renan Loureiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Anathema FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. A collision led to Maurity SS getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Renan Loureiro made a kick off. Flavinho de Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandre de Andrade in the 86th minute of the match. Angelo Valladares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Pedro Augusto Bastos made a huge save. After some careless play in the Maurity SS defense, Renan Loureiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Flavinho de Queirós. The Maurity SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Flavinho de Queirós should have stopped the shot. In the 93rd minute of the match, Angelo Valladares got a very nice opportunity to score, but Pedro Augusto Bastos was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Pedro Augusto Bastos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osmar Rosado, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. With a little luck, Anathema FC's Pedro Augusto Bastos got control of the ball when Angelo Valladares tried to sneak it across the goal line.
