Spectators: 7290 (Terracing: 5470, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 144) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Evandro Secco kicked off to start the match. When UNIÃO 7 F.C's Evandro Secco in 5 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Leopoldo Quirino guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After a rather tough play, Itaboraí FC's Kaká Senna got a free kick in the 8th minute. Evandro Secco had several of the Itaboraí FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 9 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Leopoldo Quirino as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Aílton Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leopoldo Quirino came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by UNIÃO 7 F.C's Evandro Secco. But to his dismay, Evandro Secco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Waldir Urbano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Evandro Secco came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the UNIÃO 7 F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evandro Secco couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Evandro Secco in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leopoldo Quirino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Evandro Secco struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Leopoldo Quirino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UNIÃO 7 F.C. If Evandro Secco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when UNIÃO 7 F.C's Evandro Secco fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Ian Faria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldir Urbano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Flávio Loureiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evandro Secco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Juarês Varela was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Waldir Urbano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Itaboraí FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 60th minute, Evandro Secco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leopoldo Quirino was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juarês Varela in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ian Faria saved UNIÃO 7 F.C from getting behind. Leopoldo Quirino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evandro Secco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivo Marquez in the 85th minute of play forced Itaboraí FC's goalkeeper Leopoldo Quirino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Itaboraí FC's Juarês Varela sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ian Faria narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 88 minutes into the match, Itaboraí FC's goal looked a bit too open when Evandro Secco came free, but Leopoldo Quirino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leopoldo Quirino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evandro Secco in the 94th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the UNIÃO 7 F.C players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
