The supporters of Agachi booed when Berço do Samba FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Breno Cardozo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celsinho Freitas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chiquinho Monteiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 16th minute, Germano Gaúcho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. José Augusto Vasconcelos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Celsinho Freitas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Chiquinho Monteiro put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Celsinho Freitas. After 27 played minutes Agachi got a freekick which was hit by Pedrinho de Amorim. If Chiquinho Monteiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Augusto Vasconcelos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Celsinho Freitas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If José Augusto Vasconcelos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th match minute, Berço do Samba FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aloísio Lopes to maneuver through the defense. José Augusto Vasconcelos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Celsinho Freitas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Germano Gaúcho made a kick off. José Augusto Vasconcelos took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Celsinho Freitas. Celsinho Freitas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. If Betão da Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Berço do Samba FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Dalmo Mello hit a great ball. 66 minutes into the match, Agachi's Geraldo Linares broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 67 minutes into the match, José Augusto Vasconcelos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Celsinho Freitas, 0-4. Chiquinho Monteiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling José Augusto Vasconcelos in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Celsinho Freitas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Berço do Samba FC's Celsinho Freitas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Augusto Vasconcelos in the 79th minute of play. After having played for 81 minutes, José Augusto Vasconcelos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Agachi's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Augusto Vasconcelos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Berço do Samba FC's Celsinho Freitas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Augusto Vasconcelos in the 85th minute of play. Chiquinho Monteiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Betão da Silveira's late challenge caught a Berço do Samba FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Betão da Silveira helped the player get up and apologised. In the 91st match minute, Agachi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Betão da Silveira to maneuver through the defense. 96 minutes into the match, Berço do Samba FC's goal looked a bit too open when José Augusto Vasconcelos came free, but Celsinho Freitas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Agachi played a much better game than Berço do Samba FC and deserved their victory. The Berço do Samba FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
