Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Benedito Paraibano kicked off to start the match. If Tiago Gabriel Ramalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Palmeira booed when Itororo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enio Hoffmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eduardo Penha came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Palmeira's Arthur Valle. But to his dismay, Arthur Valle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 10 minutes into the match, Júnior Paraibano notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Itororo's Eduardo Penha. Eduardo Penha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Itororo's Belchior Peres shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 14th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Daniel Vander but with some difficulty. In the 15th minute Tiago Gabriel Ramalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Penha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Antônio Carlos Rezende hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eduardo Penha came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Palmeira's Luiz Paulo Moreira. But to his dismay, Luiz Paulo Moreira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 25th minute, Arthur Valle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benedito Paraibano struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Daniel Vander didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itororo. Itororo's Eduardo Penha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arthur Valle in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Itororo's goal looked a bit too open when Arthur Valle came free, but Eduardo Penha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Itororo's Eduardo Penha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Paulo Moreira in the 32nd minute of play. Tiago Gabriel Ramalho hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Daniel Vander stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benedito Paraibano's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. After 37 minutes of play, Palmeira's Luiz Paulo Moreira made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eduardo Penha was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bernardinho Cruz hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Arthur Valle kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Benedito Paraibano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arthur Valle was the one to do the kick off. Tiago Gabriel Ramalho was extremely unlucky when he, in the 54th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Eduardo Penha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiago Gabriel Ramalho in the 54th minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Luiz Paulo Moreira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eduardo Penha was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. The supporters of Palmeira booed when Itororo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardinho Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tiago Gabriel Ramalho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eduardo Penha came out and tried to block the shot, but Tiago Gabriel Ramalho slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 65th minute. Luiz Paulo Moreira's late challenge caught a Itororo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luiz Paulo Moreira helped the player get up and apologised. Eduardo Penha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arthur Valle in the 72nd minute of play. In the 75th minute, Geraldo Fontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Arthur Valle came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Palmeira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arthur Valle couldn't finish the play. Luiz Paulo Moreira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Eduardo Penha made a huge save. Eduardo Penha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Júnior Paraibano in the 86th minute. After a rather tough play, Itororo's Doriva Tinoco got a free kick in the 86th minute. Eduardo Penha was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Geovanni Vander. Geovani Ferreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute of the match Breno Bertassi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Daniel Vander showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
