But to his dismay, Claudinei de Toledo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Alex Lucas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raúl Maranhense in the 10th minute of play. Luís Paulo Abraão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Luís Paulo Abraão came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Solonopole AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Paulo Abraão couldn't finish the play. Alex Lucas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Arósio in the 19th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Raúl Maranhense notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Solonopole AD's Alex Lucas. Alex Lucas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonathan Arósio during the 34th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Solonopole AD's zone, Jonathan Arósio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alex Lucas came out of the goal and Jonathan Arósio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Zezito AD eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
