Spectators: 6667 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 0) After 2 minutes, Duarte Mendes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Igarau EC and the Patim Raba FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 3 played minutes Igarau EC got a freekick which was hit by Duarte Mendes. When Igarau EC's Osvaldo Schmidt in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Patim Raba FC's goalie prevented a goal. Oscar Carioca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natanael Lopes, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horácio Matos in the 8th minute of play forced Igarau EC's goalkeeper Oscar Carioca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Duarte Mendes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Sebastião Valladares made a huge save. Duarte Mendes's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sebastião Valladares firmly grabbed it by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zacarias Coelho in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oscar Carioca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 34 minutes, Duarte Mendes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Igarau EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Duarte Mendes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zacarias Coelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Carioca having to interfere. Oscar Carioca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horácio Matos in the 39th minute of play. Natanael Lopes took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oscar Carioca. Oscar Carioca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Patim Raba FC's William Amorim got a free kick in the 46th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Osvaldo Schmidt made a kick off. Horácio Matos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oscar Carioca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 50th minute of play. Zacarias Coelho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oscar Carioca having to make a save. Zacarias Coelho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Oscar Carioca when he managed to save the team from getting behind. William Amorim was shown his second yellow card after 56 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. William Amorim kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Patim Raba FC's Zacarias Coelho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oscar Carioca narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 63 minutes into the game, Hélder Pinheiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Igarau EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Patim Raba FC the free kick. After 64 played minutes Igarau EC got a freekick which was hit by Hélder Pinheiro. In the 66th minute Osvaldo Schmidt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastião Valladares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patim Raba FC's Sebastião Valladares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duarte Mendes in the 68th minute of play. When Igarau EC's Duarte Mendes in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Patim Raba FC's goalie prevented a goal. When Duarte Mendes was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 70 minutes had been played. The supporters of Patim Raba FC booed when Igarau EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duarte Mendes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 75th play minutes Zacarias Coelho shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Oscar Carioca and just under the crossbar into goal. When Cícero Botelho came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Patim Raba FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cícero Botelho couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Igarau EC's zone, Zacarias Coelho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oscar Carioca came out of the goal and Zacarias Coelho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Patim Raba FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
