Dudu Mineiro acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 10th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Osvaldo de Godoy. After a rather tough play, MEDELLIN RECORDS's Marcel Miranda got a free kick in the 11th minute. 14 minutes into the game, Caratuva's Osvaldo de Godoy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dudu Mineiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Caratuva's Benedykt Pyrzyce got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mateus Ortiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Elano Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 38 minutes into the match, Eduardo Peixoto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elano Esteves. Caratuva's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eduardo Peixoto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Eduardo Peixoto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elano Esteves having to interfere. The Caratuva players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. MEDELLIN RECORDS were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mateus Ortiz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Chico Martins kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. If Mateus Ortiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joel Duarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elano Esteves having to interfere.
