Wágner Esteves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Cristóvão Fonseca made a huge save. Manuel Quirino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristóvão Fonseca having to interfere. If Bruno Guerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute Cristian Lago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matheus Macedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristóvão Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wágner Esteves, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute Wágner Esteves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristóvão Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sodrelandia's Cristóvão Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Guerra in the 24th minute of play. Wágner Esteves who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Cristóvão Fonseca when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Matheus Macedo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emerson Garcia's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. In the 37th match minute, Jucaral SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Quirino to maneuver through the defense. Matheus Macedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vito Rezende in the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Sodrelandia's Cristóvão Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Quirino in the 52nd minute of play. 52 minutes into the game, Manuel Quirino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Cristóvão Fonseca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 55 minutes into the game, Luiz Fábio Leme recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Matheus Macedo. Luiz Fábio Leme showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Benjamin Neto hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Fábio Leme in the 60th minute of play forced Jucaral SC's goalkeeper Matheus Macedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Lago kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Cristóvão Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wágner Esteves in the 62nd minute of play. When Luiz Fábio Leme came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Sodrelandia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Fábio Leme couldn't finish the play. 69 minutes into the game, Emerson Garcia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Matheus Macedo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wágner Esteves in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristóvão Fonseca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Matheus Macedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vito Rezende in the 74th minute. The supporters of Sodrelandia booed when Jucaral SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Quirino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luiz Fábio Leme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Almir Cearense hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute of the match José Pedro Carneiro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Matheus Macedo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Emerson Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matheus Macedo having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Vito Rezende had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Matheus Macedo. Jucaral SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vito Rezende was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emerson Garcia got free with Matheus Macedo in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Silvério Moraes hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Matheus Macedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fábio Leme in the 93rd minute of the match. Sodrelandia were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Jucaral SC's much stronger midfield.
