Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nando Cearense kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, Paulistania FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Fábio Leme came free, but Carlos Santana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albertinho Secco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Sodrelandia's zone, Nando Cearense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristóvão Fonseca came out of the goal and Nando Cearense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luiz Fábio Leme in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Santana prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 16 minutes into the match, Sodrelandia's goal looked a bit too open when Nando Cearense came free, but Cristóvão Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nando Cearense in the 18th minute of play forced Sodrelandia's goalkeeper Cristóvão Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Vito Rezende had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the match, Paulistania FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Fábio Leme came free, but Carlos Santana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute, Luiz Fábio Leme fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Gilberto Seco's late challenge caught a Sodrelandia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gilberto Seco helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Paulistania FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Gilberto Seco hit a great ball. If Luiz Fábio Leme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 29th minute of the match Gilberto Seco completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Gilberto Seco a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Gilberto Seco hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute, Luiz Fábio Leme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carlos Santana made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emerson Garcia in the 37th minute. If Albertinho Secco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Albertinho Secco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Sodrelandia's Luiz Fábio Leme got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 54th minute Luiz Fábio Leme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Santana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 57 minutes, Cristian Lago managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sodrelandia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Lago was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emerson Garcia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luiz Fábio Leme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Albertinho Secco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paulistania FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Albertinho Secco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristóvão Fonseca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Emerson Garcia came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Sodrelandia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emerson Garcia couldn't finish the play. Paulistania FC's Carlos Santana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Fábio Leme in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Luiz Fábio Leme made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Santana. Paulistania FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Paulistania FC's Carlos Santana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Fábio Leme in the 76th minute of play. Carlos Santana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emerson Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Carlos Santana came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Sodrelandia's Luiz Fábio Leme. But to his dismay, Luiz Fábio Leme quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Sodrelandia's attack was well implemented in the 93rd minute, but when Luiz Fábio Leme was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Sodrelandia's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
