Spectators: 6665 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1665, VIP seats: 0) Fausto's Dino Luz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Manfredo Neto came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Jacata fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manfredo Neto couldn't finish the play. Abel Fernandez kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Dudu Cordeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 19 played minutes Fausto got a freekick which was hit by Filipe Ferreira. When Manfredo Neto came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Jacata fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manfredo Neto couldn't finish the play. Cristóvão Castro came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Jacata's Dieguinho Mendes. But to his dismay, Dieguinho Mendes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Luís Gustavo Motta took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cristóvão Castro. Fausto's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bernardinho Xavier kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After having played for 42 minutes, Manfredo Neto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jacata's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manfredo Neto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Raphael Arruda hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the game, Manolo Loyola lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Ricardinho Figueiredo. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Manfredo Neto made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manfredo Neto in the 51st minute of play forced Fausto's goalkeeper Cristóvão Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raphael Arruda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Cristóvão Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Jarbas Azevedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 56th minute Manolo Loyola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardinho Figueiredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute of the match, Manfredo Neto tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cristóvão Castro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Manfredo Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manfredo Neto in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristóvão Castro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fausto's goalkeeper Cristóvão Castro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jarbas Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute, Manfredo Neto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristóvão Castro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jarbas Azevedo in the 77th minute. Jacata were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after Fausto's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dudu Cordeiro took the corner. The corner led Jacata's Dudu Cordeiro to fire away a dangerous shot which Cristóvão Castro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Filipe Ferreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the Jacata defense, Dino Luz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardinho Figueiredo. The Jacata fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardinho Figueiredo should have stopped the shot. In the 90th match minute, Fausto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Fernandez to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dudu Cordeiro in the 91st minute of play forced Fausto's goalkeeper Cristóvão Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristóvão Castro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manfredo Neto went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Jacata were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Fausto to leave the ground with a draw.
