The corner led Itamoji's Emanuel Săvescu to fire away a dangerous shot which José Maria Sabóia despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to Itamoji getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Dênis de Amorim hit a great ball. In the 11th match minute, Fc Darkeness was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luizinho Medeiros to maneuver through the defense. If Dênis de Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute, Dênis de Amorim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Fc Darkeness defense, Bebeto Brasil kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Maria Sabóia. The Fc Darkeness fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Maria Sabóia should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dênis de Amorim in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Maria Sabóia saved Fc Darkeness from getting behind. 26 minutes into the match, Fc Darkeness's goal looked a bit too open when Bebeto Brasil came free, but José Maria Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dênis de Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Maria Sabóia having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Emanuel Săvescu notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Fc Darkeness's José Maria Sabóia. José Maria Sabóia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. José Maria Sabóia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reinaldo Leal hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Bebeto Brasil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. José Maria Sabóia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emanuel Săvescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Itamoji booed when Fc Darkeness was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reinaldo Leal didn't get a good kick on the ball. José Maria Sabóia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dênis de Amorim in the 40th minute of play. Emanuel Săvescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over José Maria Sabóia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emanuel Săvescu ran back to his position shaking his head. The wind increased when Geraldo Capixaba made the kick off in the second half. Dênis de Amorim hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Fc Darkeness's José Maria Sabóia got control of the ball when Cássio Amorim tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bebeto Brasil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Maria Sabóia having to interfere. With his leg José Maria Sabóia managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when Itamoji's Afonso Fonseca fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Afonso Fonseca in the 64thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of José Maria Sabóia, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Cássio Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Maria Sabóia having to interfere. 69 minutes into the game, Bebeto Brasil recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of José Maria Sabóia. Bebeto Brasil showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Amadeu de Godoi hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Afonso Fonseca in the 82ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of José Maria Sabóia, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Bebeto Brasil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Cássio Amorim took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for José Maria Sabóia to make any attempt to save it. Afonso Fonseca who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of José Maria Sabóia when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Matheus Favoretto made in the 95th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Itamoji's Lucas Pernambucano. José Maria Sabóia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Afonso Fonseca's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. Reinaldo Leal was shown his second yellow card after 97 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Itamoji's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
