The tension between the SemLimite F.C. and the Mourao players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 8 played minutes SemLimite F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Tiaguinho Porto. After a rather tough play, SemLimite F.C.'s Cacá Toledo got a free kick in the 10th minute. Antônio Carlos do Nascimento had several of the SemLimite F.C.'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 13 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Norberto Teles as he didn't even see the shot coming. After a defensive mix-up in Mourao's zone, Genílson Simões stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nando Branco came out of the goal and Genílson Simões tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 27thth minute of the game Tiaguinho Porto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mourao's Nando Branco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Mourao's goal looked a bit too open when Tiaguinho Porto came free, but Nando Branco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of SemLimite F.C. booed when Mourao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antônio Carlos do Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nando Branco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiaguinho Porto, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tiaguinho Porto in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nando Branco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Antônio Carlos do Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Teles having to interfere. A collision led to Mourao getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Jeremias Brodel hit a great ball. After having played for 44 minutes, Tiaguinho Porto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SemLimite F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiaguinho Porto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Antônio Carlos do Nascimento dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Norberto Teles, 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antônio Carlos do Nascimento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With his leg Nando Branco managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when SemLimite F.C.'s Tiaguinho Porto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 59th minute, Genílson Simões got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 65 minutes into the match, Mourao's goal looked a bit too open when Tiaguinho Porto came free, but Nando Branco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Norberto Teles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mourao. A hard shot 95 in the game by Tiaguinho Porto from a close distance when the talented Nando Branco managed to make a qualified save. Mourao's players were relieved. Nando Branco was a little too slow when Cícero Porto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 2-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched SemLimite F.C. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
