The supporters of Girls By Piauí booed when Lobatense EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul Neagoe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dante Ferreira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Luiz Rocha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. When Paul Neagoe fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lobatense EC's protests and gave Paul Neagoe a yellow card for diving instead. The tension between the Girls By Piauí and the Lobatense EC players grew even worse after the yellow card.
