Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 22ndth minute of the game Dante Ferreira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Urutagua's Roger Munhoz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Girls By Piauí's Pedro Augusto Freire got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 26 minutes into the game, Pedro Augusto Freire was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Girls By Piauí's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Urutagua the free kick. Zé Oliveira kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After 34 minutes, Dante Ferreira made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Urutagua's Roger Munhoz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Carlos Fernando Alvarenga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Urutagua's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Fernando Alvarenga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eduardo Mendonça breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 38th minute, Anderson Brodel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Dante Ferreira sped through Urutagua's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Roger Munhoz. If Carlos Fernando Alvarenga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hílton Lago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Mendonça having to interfere. Hílton Lago recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Fernando Alvarenga was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Loco Abreu made a precise shot to the right of Roger Munhoz. Urutagua's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 56th minute, Cesc Fabregas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roger Munhoz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Eduardo Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hílton Lago in the 59th minute of play. Dante Ferreira's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Roger Munhoz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Roger Munhoz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dante Ferreira's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. After 64 played minutes, Urutagua's Natanael Machado shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eduardo Mendonça came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Urutagua reached it. When Zé Oliveira fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Urutagua's protests and gave Zé Oliveira a yellow card for diving instead. Girls By Piauí made a substitution. Conrado Lucas replaced Valdo Novaes. After 75 minutes, Dante Ferreira made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. Urutagua's Roger Munhoz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Dante Ferreira was extremely unlucky when he, in the 79th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Eduardo Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hílton Lago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Ferreiras short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Roger Munhoz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 88 minutes into the match, Carlos Fernando Alvarenga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eduardo Mendonça. Girls By Piauí's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Fernando Alvarenga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. Roger Munhoz was out of position in the 92 minute of play, and Pedro Augusto Freire capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pedro Augusto Freire really showed his touch with that goal: 1-7. If Cesc Fabregas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Girls By Piauí's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
