Thanks to some nice moves Dante Iturri could shoot a difficult shot in the 3rd minute, which Naldo Pinheiro however easily saved by the left post. Naldo Pinheiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Alagoano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Iturri who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 6thth minute tested the skills of Naldo Pinheiro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of ToStA FC booed when Internacional Limeira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nando Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 9 played minutes ToStA FC got a freekick which was hit by Grigore Gheordunescu. Marcos Sarmento kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Percival Souto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 17th play minutes Laurids Lyngsø shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Naldo Pinheiro and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 23rd match minute, ToStA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grigore Gheordunescu to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Grigore Gheordunescu got free with Naldo Pinheiro in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nando Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After 29 played minutes ToStA FC got a freekick which was hit by Laurids Lyngsø. Grigore Gheordunescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Grigore Gheordunescu fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ToStA FC's protests and gave Grigore Gheordunescu a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vito Tande in the 36th minute of play forced ToStA FC's goalkeeper Júlio Travassos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Patrick Jaltved notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Internacional Limeira's Naldo Pinheiro. Naldo Pinheiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Laurids Lyngsø made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Laurids Lyngsø ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Naldo Pinheiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Júlio Travassos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Percival Souto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the game, Patrick Jaltved was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ToStA FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Internacional Limeira the free kick. A collision led to ToStA FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Patrick Jaltved hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute, Vito Tande got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. ToStA FC made a substitution. Washington Toledo replaced Laurids Lyngsø. Naldo Pinheiro came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by ToStA FC's André Alagoano. But to his dismay, André Alagoano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 71 minutes into the match, ToStA FC's Washington Toledo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Naldo Pinheiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 73 minutes of play, ToStA FC's Dante Iturri made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Naldo Pinheiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! ToStA FC's Patrick Jaltved got his second yellow card of the match in the 78th minute. The referee ordered Patrick Jaltved off the ground. In the 79th minute, Patrick Jaltved hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ronaldão de Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Naldo Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Washington Toledo in the 96th minute of the match. ToStA FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
