Kauan Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateus Dante having to interfere. 13 minutes into the game, Perivaldo Sabóia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mucurepe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Posses SC the free kick. In the 12th minute, one of Mucurepe:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mucurepe. Manuel do Nascimento took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dadá Paulista. Mucurepe's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Geovani Hermes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Dadá Paulista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ezequiel Abraão got free with Mateus Dante in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
