Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Remo Porto in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sidney de Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sidney de Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remo Porto in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Remo Porto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Clube Atlético Paranaense fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Luciano Lopes made the kick off in the second half. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sidney de Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Glauco Alvarenga in the 68th minute of the match. Adrianinho Pinheiro hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. If Glauco Alvarenga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 83 minutes, Remo Porto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
