The Erivaldo Albuquerque was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 31st match minute, Manguairinha SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cássio Proença to maneuver through the defense. Franklin Massa made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Otávio Quaresma sent off a good shot on target. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Franklin Massa as he didn't even see the shot coming. Rodrigo Cabral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franklin Massa having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

If Otávio Quaresma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Sapecada SC's goalkeeper Franklin Massa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
