Spectators: 6654 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Vicente Silveira got the match started through his kick off. If Rony Paraense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th minute Simão Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gernando Ribeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Simão Costa in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gernando Ribeiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Rony Paraense came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Curva fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rony Paraense couldn't finish the play. Gernando Ribeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rony Paraense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st match minute, Curva was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardinho Zonta to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute of the match, Eugênio Gonçalves got a very nice opportunity to score, but Manuel Vasconcelos was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 26 minutes, Edson Sabóia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Curva and the Mingau players grew even worse after the yellow card. Manuel Vasconcelos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Silveira in the 28th minute of the match. After having played for 33 minutes, Simão Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Curva's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simão Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 35thth minute of the game Rony Paraense who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mingau's Gernando Ribeiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Rony Paraense was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Curva's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mingau the free kick. After a rather tough play, Curva's Bernardinho Zonta got a free kick in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rony Paraense in the 48th minute of play forced Mingau's goalkeeper Gernando Ribeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rony Paraense to make the kick off. With a little luck, Mingau's Gernando Ribeiro got control of the ball when Simão Costa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Simão Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gernando Ribeiro having to interfere. The supporters of Curva booed when Mingau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nando Tinoco didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Rony Paraense's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gernando Ribeiro was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Rony Paraense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Gernando Ribeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Vicente Silveira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Curva's Manuel Vasconcelos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Silveira in the 79th minute of play. Simão Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Gernando Ribeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elano Hermes hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After having played for 89 minutes, Simão Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Curva's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simão Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mingau's Eugênio Gonçalves got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Curva players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Mingau from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
