Spectators: 5030 (Terracing: 4010, Seating: 1010, VIP seats: 10) Ilhas SS's Dedé Dias started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Genílson Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ilhas SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Genílson Carvalho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cauan do Nascimento breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dedé Dias in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cauan do Nascimento prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 6 minutes, Dedé Dias made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Chapecoense F.C's Cauan do Nascimento tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Cristóvão Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cauan do Nascimento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Váldson Cabral, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Victor Ramalho hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Ilhas SS's Rogério Travassos got a free kick in the 19th minute. 24 minutes into the game, Fellipe Meirelles recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Walmir Vasconcelos. Fellipe Meirelles showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Chapecoense F.C's Cauan do Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stephan Middeljans in the 31st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dedé Dias in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cauan do Nascimento saved Chapecoense F.C from getting behind. Dedé Dias scored 1-2 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cauan do Nascimento, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Dedé Dias put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Cauan do Nascimento. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fellipe Meirelles to strike the kick off in the second half. Fellipe Meirelles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walmir Vasconcelos having to interfere. Artur da Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Walmir Vasconcelos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Didi Fantini in the 57th minute of play. Dedé Dias who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Cauan do Nascimento when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ilhas SS's Stephan Middeljans got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lucas Mineiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walmir Vasconcelos having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Ilhas SS's Cristóvão Castro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cauan do Nascimento narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 78th minute, Dedé Dias fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 83rd minute, Cristóvão Castro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marquinhos Bezerra kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Dedé Dias who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Cauan do Nascimento when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cauan do Nascimento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dedé Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Dedé Diass short, quick shot in the 90thth minute got Cauan do Nascimento to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Chapecoense F.C booed when Ilhas SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Váldson Cabral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marquinhos Bezerra, 93 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.
