Kléberson Vidal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kasey Stevens's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. In the 13th minute Betão Soeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kiko Melo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Coringa FC defense, Kasey Stevens kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kléberson Vidal. The Coringa FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kléberson Vidal should have stopped the shot. Marvados PVH FC's Kiko Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mané Saldanha in the 21st minute of play. Kiko Melo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mané Saldanha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rogério Pitta hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Betão Soeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kiko Melo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Betão Soeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristiano Pinheiro during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cristiano Pinheiro kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Chico Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marvados PVH FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Chico Brito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kléberson Vidal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Coringa FC's zone, Davi Neiva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kléberson Vidal came out of the goal and Davi Neiva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute Kasey Stevens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kléberson Vidal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Betão Soeiro in the 45th minute of play forced Marvados PVH FC's goalkeeper Kiko Melo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kasey Stevens stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Kasey Stevens's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kléberson Vidal was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Edmílson Lopes charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edmílson Lopes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Coringa FC booed when Marvados PVH FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Davi Neiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kasey Stevens in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kléberson Vidal saved Coringa FC from getting behind. Kléberson Vidal came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Marvados PVH FC's Edmílson Lopes. But to his dismay, Edmílson Lopes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. If Ramo Corinth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the match, Mané Saldanha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kiko Melo. Marvados PVH FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mané Saldanha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Marvados PVH FC had played much better football throughout.
