Spectators: 7165 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 0) 7 minutes into the game, Ilhas SS's Dedé Dias nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kiko Melo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Kiko Melo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Genílson Carvalho's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. In the 18th match minute, Marvados PVH FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kasey Stevens to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Marvados PVH FC booed when Ilhas SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Váldson Cabral didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Ilhas SS's Rogério Travassos got a free kick in the 24th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Ramo Corinth managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marvados PVH FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramo Corinth was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Walmir Vasconcelos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 30th play minutes Dedé Dias shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Kiko Melo and just under the crossbar into goal. The Marvados PVH FC fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Marvados PVH FC's Kasey Stevens looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ilhas SS's Walmir Vasconcelos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Ilhas SS from getting a goal against them. Walmir Vasconcelos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmílson Lopes in the 43rd minute of play. In the 44th minute, Marvados PVH FC's Kasey Stevens ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Walmir Vasconcelos. Walmir Vasconcelos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. The Marvados PVH FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ilhas SS were winning 2-3.

Luiz Fabiano Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Walmir Vasconcelos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 53 minutes into the match, Ilhas SS's goal looked a bit too open when Ramo Corinth came free, but Walmir Vasconcelos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kiko Melo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stephan Middeljans in the 55th minute of the match. Kiko Melo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dedé Dias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Ilhas SS's zone, Edmílson Lopes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walmir Vasconcelos came out of the goal and Edmílson Lopes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlos Alberto Fonseca hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Walmir Vasconcelos came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Marvados PVH FC's Edmílson Lopes. But to his dismay, Edmílson Lopes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. 67 minutes into the match, Ramo Corinth notched a goal, 4-3, to the right of Ilhas SS's Walmir Vasconcelos. Walmir Vasconcelos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 72nd minute, Ramo Corinth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Marvados PVH FC fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when Marvados PVH FC's Kasey Stevens looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 79thth minute of the game Dedé Dias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marvados PVH FC's Kiko Melo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Fabiano Fonseca in the 84th minute of play forced Ilhas SS's goalkeeper Walmir Vasconcelos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kiko Melo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stephan Middeljans in the 85th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, Marvados PVH FC's goal looked a bit too open when Váldson Cabral came free, but Kiko Melo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kiko Melo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Váldson Cabral. If Luiz Fabiano Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ilhas SS's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
