Glauco Mendonça hit a great ball. In the 16th match minute, Coqueiros SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kauã Maranhense to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the game, The Dragons's Erik Sebestyén nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alexsandro Palmeira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The supporters of The Dragons booed when Coqueiros SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natanael Andrade didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Erik Sebestyén's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alexsandro Palmeira was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Erik Sebestyén recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. André Luís de Queirós recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christiano Abreu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Saraiva having to interfere. Arnaldo Saraiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Luís de Queirós in the 48th minute of the match.

The wind increased when André Luís de Queirós made the kick off in the second half. During this time Coqueiros SS's players had a chance to rest. 71 minutes into the match, Karl-Ove Ferm notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Coqueiros SS's Alexsandro Palmeira. Alexsandro Palmeira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Natanael Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. If Erik Sebestyén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the game, Karl-Ove Ferm recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alexsandro Palmeira. Karl-Ove Ferm showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christiano Abreu in the 82nd minute of play forced The Dragons's goalkeeper Arnaldo Saraiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes had been played when some careless play by The Dragons's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bebeto de Godoi was slow to take the kick. During this time Coqueiros SS's players had a chance to rest. Coqueiros SS's Bebeto de Godoi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Arnaldo Saraiva in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Christiano Abreu struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Arnaldo Saraiva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coqueiros SS. 90 minutes into the match, Coqueiros SS's goal looked a bit too open when Joar Björklund came free, but Alexsandro Palmeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexsandro Palmeira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joar Björklund went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. The Dragons played a much better game than Coqueiros SS and deserved their victory. The Coqueiros SS players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
