In the 3rdth minute of the game Nicolas Alvarenga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Golabeira's Eusébio Seco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Palmeiras's Nelsinho Rossi got a free kick in the 8th minute. Eusébio Seco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Alvarenga, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Nicolas Alvarenga who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Eusébio Seco when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 45 minutes, Nicolas Alvarenga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Golabeira's goalkeeper Eusébio Seco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
