Spectators: 6657 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 0) Ibiam FC's Serafim Cardoso started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ibiam FC's goalkeeper Hélder Pernambucano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sydney Queiroz struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Hélder Pernambucano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monte Castelo. Gil Rocha charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gil Rocha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 10 played minutes Ibiam FC got a freekick which was hit by Gil Rocha. When Monte Castelo's Su Lin Yuan in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ibiam FC's goalie prevented a goal. Su Lin Yuan charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Su Lin Yuan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Monte Castelo's Su Lin Yuan got a free kick in the 19th minute. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Su Lin Yuan put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Hélder Pernambucano. Serafim Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ibiam FC's Gil Rocha got his second yellow card of the match in the 26th minute. The referee ordered Gil Rocha off the ground. In the 27th minute, Gil Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 31 minutes, Su Lin Yuan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monte Castelo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Su Lin Yuan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hélder Pernambucano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Alberto Brandao in the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th match minute, Ibiam FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafim Cardoso to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Luis Alberto Brandao managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monte Castelo's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Alberto Brandao was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hélder Pernambucano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hélder Pernambucano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Su Lin Yuan's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. After the first half Monte Castelo were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Su Lin Yuan to strike the kick off in the second half. Luis Alberto Brandao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Su Lin Yuan took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hélder Pernambucano. Hélder Pernambucano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Sydney Queiroz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 66th minute, Su Lin Yuan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 72 minutes into the game, Deividas Zaleckas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hélder Pernambucano. Deividas Zaleckas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Hélder Pernambucano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Su Lin Yuan in the 75th minute of the match. In the 77th minute of the match, Deividas Zaleckas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hélder Pernambucano was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Monte Castelo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fabiano Goiano in the 79th minute. Su Lin Yuan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ibiam FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Su Lin Yuan 83 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-4. Hélder Pernambucano made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Su Lin Yuan sent off a good shot on target. Hélder Pernambucano didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 89th minute, which inside left pole to 0-5. Hélder Pernambucano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sydney Queiroz in the 93rd minute.
