But to his dismay, Hermengildo Oidor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 17 minutes into the game, one of Rio Claro FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. André Luís Carvalho charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rafa Lucas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Consenza Calcio's goal looked a bit too open when Rafa Lucas came free, but Dennis Petrella reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rio Claro FC's Falcão Sena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Berger in the 55th minute of play. Falcão Sena was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marcos Nascimento showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 57 minute of play. Falcão Sena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermengildo Oidor in the 66th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Rio Claro FC's Juarês Borges got a free kick in the 67th minute. 68 minutes into the game, André Luís Carvalho lined in a short shot 0-6 behind a frustrated Falcão Sena. In the 72nd minute, Hermengildo Oidor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hermengildo Oidor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Falcão Sena read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Falcão Sena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Luís Carvalho in the 94th minute of the match. Falcão Sena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Nascimento in the 95th minute of play. Consenza Calcio played a much better game than Rio Claro FC and deserved their victory. The Rio Claro FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
