But to his dismay, Bengt-Arne Clementsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Concórdia AC's goalkeeper Gabriel Pimenta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kuido Kääramees blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gabriel Pimenta having to make a save. Gabriel Pimenta made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Kuido Kääramees sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Concórdia AC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Walmir Tróia hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cido Pinho during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 47th minute, Cido Pinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

After having played for 62 minutes, Carlos Augusto de Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The audience was convinced that Kuido Kääramees's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gabriel Pimenta was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. If Bengt-Arne Clementsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Caetano had played much better football throughout.
