Spectators: 7135 (Terracing: 5353, Seating: 1641, VIP seats: 141) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cesinha Matorin got the match started through his kick off. If Benê Meirelles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nildo Miranda in the 11th minute of play forced Brancos FC's goalkeeper Vladimir Loureiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Pinhalao fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when Pinhalao's Nildo Miranda looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nildo Miranda in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vladimir Loureiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pinhalao's Nildo Miranda got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 17 minutes into the match, Brancos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nildo Miranda came free, but Vladimir Loureiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diguinho de Godoi made a great header on Pinhalao's corner, it was just that Brancos FC's Vladimir Loureiro managed to reach the ball for a save. Benê Meirelles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Brancos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benê Meirelles came free, but Vladimir Loureiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Pinhalao booed when Brancos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evaristo Vieira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute, Diguinho de Godoi sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Brancos FC's Vladimir Loureiro didn't even have to move. Vladimir Loureiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nildo Miranda in the 32nd minute of the match. Benê Meirelles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Vladimir Loureiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brancos FC's Vladimir Loureiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nildo Miranda in the 39th minute of play. Vladimir Loureiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nildo Miranda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benê Meirelles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Vladimir Loureiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nildo Miranda to make the kick off. With his leg Vladimir Loureiro managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Pinhalao's Benê Meirelles fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Vladimir Loureiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nildo Miranda in the 54th minute of the match. Vladimir Loureiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nildo Miranda in the 57th minute of play. Vladimir Loureiro made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Benê Meirelles sent off a good shot on target. Diguinho de Godoi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vladimir Loureiro. Brancos FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Nildo Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pinhalao's Nildo Miranda was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 68th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. An unexpected shot in the 75th minute by Nildo Miranda got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benê Meirelles got free with Vladimir Loureiro in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nildo Miranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Vladimir Loureiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Nildo Miranda came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Pinhalao fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nildo Miranda couldn't finish the play. Brancos FC's Vladimir Loureiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Brancos FC from getting a goal against them. If Nildo Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Brancos FC's zone, Benê Meirelles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vladimir Loureiro came out of the goal and Benê Meirelles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vladimir Loureiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nildo Miranda in the 93rd minute of play. Brancos FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 96th minute, when Nildo Miranda scored to the left of an out of position Vladimir Loureiro, making the score, 0-4.
