In the 14th minute, Jarbas Sena made a precise shot to the right of Zé Barbosa. Buquim's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Buquim's Zé Barbosa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Buquim from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Walmyr Carioca stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zé Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarbas Sena in the 53rd minute of the match. The supporters of Borrusia Dortmund booed when Buquim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walmyr Carioca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jarbas Sena took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zé Barbosa. Zé Barbosa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jarbas Sena went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score.
