Paranai FC's Humberto Correia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haroldo Diniz in the 3rd minute of play. Gabriel do Valle blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cipriano Queirós having to make a save. Gabriel do Valle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Cipriano Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Haroldo Diniz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Correia having to interfere. With a little luck, Paranai FC's Humberto Correia got control of the ball when Haroldo Diniz tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 24th minute Casimiro were awarded a corner. Marquinhos de Lima went to the cornerflag to take it. João Secco was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Cipriano Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathias Chaves in the 27th minute of play. Paranai FC's Gabriel do Valle got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cipriano Queirós stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabriel do Valle's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Cipriano Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel do Valle in the 39th minute of the match. When Gabriel do Valle came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Paranai FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel do Valle couldn't finish the play.

Mathias Chaves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Humberto Correia came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Casimiro's Haroldo Diniz. But to his dismay, Haroldo Diniz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 68th minute of the match, Gabriel do Valle tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cipriano Queirós saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Humberto Correia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovanni de Brito in the 71st minute of play. Gabriel do Valle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Cipriano Queirós made a huge save. After having played for 93 minutes, Gabriel do Valle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paranai FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel do Valle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Casimiro succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Paranai FC had controlled the match.
