Spectators: 7206 (Terracing: 5406, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 143) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Douglas Marinho got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas Marinho in the 9th minute of play forced Siriu's goalkeeper Dudu Fontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dudu Fontes came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Jacuipe FC's Renatinho Carvalho. But to his dismay, Renatinho Carvalho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Renatinho Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Dudu Fontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Douglas Marinho fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Raphael de Amarals short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Dudu Fontes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 22 minutes in the game, Renatinho Carvalho fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Dudu Fontes having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Douglas Marinho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dudu Fontes, 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Siriu's zone, Douglas Marinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dudu Fontes came out of the goal and Douglas Marinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Renatinho Carvalho came free with the goalkeeper in the 37th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dudu Fontes could save by the left post. In the 45th minute, Jacuipe FC's Bebeto Urbano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dudu Fontes. Dudu Fontes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ramón Leite to make the kick off. Dudu Fontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raphael de Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 52nd minute, Giovanni Tasso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dudu Fontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Douglas Marinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After some careless play in the Siriu defense, Renatinho Carvalho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dudu Fontes. The Siriu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dudu Fontes should have stopped the shot. Dudu Fontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renatinho Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After a rather tough play, Jacuipe FC's Renatinho Carvalho got a free kick in the 61st minute. Dudu Fontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renatinho Carvalho in the 63rd minute of play. Siriu's Dudu Fontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Douglas Marinho in the 64th minute of play. After 67 minutes of play, Jacuipe FC's Renatinho Carvalho made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dudu Fontes was left in no man's land by his defense there! 70 minutes into the match, Siriu's goal looked a bit too open when Renatinho Carvalho came free, but Dudu Fontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute, Raphael de Amaral left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jacuipe FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Bebeto Urbano's late challenge caught a Siriu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bebeto Urbano helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Siriu booed when Jacuipe FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bebeto Urbano didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fiori Brodel during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fiori Brodel hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Dudu Fontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raphael de Amaral in the 92nd minute of the match. After having played for 94 minutes, Ramón Leite managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Siriu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramón Leite was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dudu Fontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Douglas Marinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Jacuipe FC were the better team. Jacuipe FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
