Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alexander Aadorf kicked off to start the match. Gremio Catanduvense's Adhemar Braga got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 13 minutes into the match, Potinha's goal looked a bit too open when Adhemar Braga came free, but Lenílson Toscano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute, Paulinho Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 43 minutes, Paulo José Leal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Potinha and the Gremio Catanduvense players grew even worse after the yellow card. It was beautiful to see Gremio Catanduvense's Ronaldinho Arruda in action when he in the 45th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Clemente Amaral to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Adhemar Braga reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lenílson Toscano. The goal made the score 0-1. Eusébio Dionísio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Cesinha Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Gremio Catanduvense's zone, Clemente Amaral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cesinha Cunha came out of the goal and Clemente Amaral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Clemente Amaral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Donato Pires kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Paulinho Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Alexander Aadorf got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Gremio Catanduvense's goal looked a bit too open when Eusébio Dionísio came free, but Cesinha Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cesinha Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusébio Dionísio in the 73rd minute of the match. Ronaldinho Arruda hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Gremio Catanduvense's Alexander Aadorf slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lenílson Toscano. That made the score 0-2 after 76 minutes of play. In the 81st match minute, Potinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavinho Pirani to maneuver through the defense. Potinha's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when Adhemar Braga scored to the left of an out of position Lenílson Toscano, making the score, 0-3. The Potinha players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
