After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Guga Ceresso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Muana SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Guga Ceresso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dinei Albuquerque breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 66th minute, Faustão Alves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Róbson Linhares took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dinei Albuquerque. Dinei Albuquerque dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-5. If Róbson Linhares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafinha Arósio in the 73rd minute of play forced Moncuaba's goalkeeper Dinei Albuquerque to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dinei Albuquerque made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Róbson Linhares sent off a good shot on target. After 76 minutes of play Moncuaba's Afonso Viana was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 76 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Moncuaba! Moncuaba's Dinei Albuquerque proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Moncuaba from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Moncuaba's Dinei Albuquerque got control of the ball when Róbson Linhares tried to sneak it across the goal line.
