Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Raúl Massa started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Lúcio Gaspar notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of CAIPIRENSE's Adalmo Donato. Adalmo Donato was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of CAIPIRENSE booed when Murucupi AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardinho Couto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alessandro Bertassi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ivo Paranaense came out and tried to block the shot, but Alessandro Bertassi slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 9th minute. If Raúl Massa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adalmo Donato didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edmundo Ramalho went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Alessandro Bertassi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adalmo Donato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesinha Tinoco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alessandro Bertassi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivo Paranaense having to interfere. When Alessandro Bertassi came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the CAIPIRENSE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alessandro Bertassi couldn't finish the play. Raúl Massa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Ivo Paranaense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alessandro Bertassi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, CAIPIRENSE's Adalberto Miranda got a free kick in the 39th minute. Jonas Fernandez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Ivo Paranaense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raúl Massas short, quick shot in the 46thth minute got Ivo Paranaense to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Murucupi AD's goalkeeper Ivo Paranaense, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The CAIPIRENSE players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Murucupi AD were winning 1-2.
The wind increased when Lúcio Gaspar made the kick off in the second half. Raúl Massa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivo Paranaense having to interfere. Moisés Marinho lost his temper 55 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Moisés Marinho kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 1-3 became the score in the 57th minute when Lúcio Gaspar elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 62nd minute, Raúl Massa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 65 minutes into the match, CAIPIRENSE's Raúl Massa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ivo Paranaense narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Adalmo Donato was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edmundo Ramalho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 66 minute of play. After 69 minutes, Alessandro Bertassi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CAIPIRENSE and the Murucupi AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alessandro Bertassi hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 77 minutes into the match, CAIPIRENSE's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardinho Couto came free, but Adalmo Donato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raúl Massa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 82 minutes, Jonas Fernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CAIPIRENSE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonas Fernandez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 85th minute, Raúl Massa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Murucupi AD's Ivo Paranaense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raúl Massa in the 91st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Murucupi AD's Lúcio Gaspar got a free kick in the 94th minute. A collision led to Murucupi AD getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Cesinha Tinoco hit a great ball.
