Centenário Futebol Clube's Lauro Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Acácio Lima in the 43rd minute of play. Oswaldo de Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Nilton Brodel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lino Baiano hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jonathan Rodrigues was the one to do the kick off. Camalau's Valdo Nóbrega got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Centenário Futebol Clube's Mateus Passos got a free kick in the 57th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Centenário Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinei Paulista came free, but Lauro Reis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nilton Brodel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Rodrigues in the 89th minute of the match. With his leg Lauro Reis managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Camalau's Luiz Maranhense fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jonathan Rodrigues charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonathan Rodrigues the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jonathan Rodrigues hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match.
